Marine environments involve a group of interactions of various physiological structures and forms of living, which are contained within the global oceans, seas, and coasts. These ecosystems are critical for maintaining and enhancing the continuation of the different species and communities, food provisions, climate control mechanisms, and overall human survival and sustenance. It becomes important that people know the interactions in marine ecosystems in other to conserve and manage them sustainably.

It is critical that we protect the world’s oceans because they are fundamental to life on this planet, harbor numerous and varied ecosystems that accommodate millions of species as well, and serve various human life functions. Thus, to contribute to the protection of the ocean and the fauna that inhabit it and to maintain the health of marine environments for generations to come, collective action on an international level is required.
